    Are you passionate about pizza and looking to develop your skills in a busy Italian restaurant? Al Forno Wimbledon is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Junior Pizza Chef / Pizza Assistant to join our kitchen team. Previous pizza experience is an advantage, but it is not essential. We are happy to train the right person who is reliable, motivated and eager to learn. Key Responsibilities • Assist with pizza dough preparation, including mixing, proofing and portioning., • Prepare and add toppings according to our recipes and standards., • Learn to operate the pizza oven and ensure pizzas are cooked consistently., • Keep the pizza section clean, organised and ready for service., • Monitor ingredients and help maintain stock levels and freshness., • Support the Pizza Chef and wider kitchen team during busy services., • Assist with other kitchen preparation and duties when required., • Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures. What We're Looking For • Previous kitchen or pizza experience is a plus, but not essential., • A genuine interest in cooking and pizza making., • Willingness to learn and develop as a Pizza Chef., • Reliable, hardworking and able to stay organised during busy services., • Good communication skills and a positive team attitude., • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
