Job Description: • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the business. • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues across a range of devices, providing efficient and effective support. • Provide responsive technical support to all employees, ensuring minimal disruption in a high-value retail environment. • Implement and maintain IT security measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and access controls, with a focus on protecting sensitive customer and transaction data. • Manage system updates, data backups, and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity and data integrity. • Support the integration and maintenance of key IT systems, including EPOS solutions, CRM platforms, inventory databases, and payment processing systems. • Ensure all IT systems comply with company policies, GDPR, and industry-specific data protection regulations. • Assist in the installation and configuration of servers, routers, and other network infrastructure. • Monitor and assess IT infrastructure performance, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation. • Document IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and user support documentation to aid efficiency and consistency. Skills & Education: • Previous working experience as an IT Technician for at least a year. • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field • Strong working knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems. • Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN. • Familiarity with retail technology, including EPOS systems, payment gateways, and inventory management software (preferred). • Experience with Microsoft 365, cloud-based tools, and CRM systems (advantageous). • Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. • Well-organised, reliable, and capable of prioritising tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.

We provide exceptional care to vulnerable and older people, which enables them to live independently at home, and also to adults in our 5-bed supported living residential home. We are looking for a team of carers to assist clients at home, some with complex needs. This role is to be initially based in the Benfleet area and Essex surrounding. To be successful in this role, you would need to be able to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, be able to multi task, manage your own time effectively and be an excellent communicator to her family, as our client is non communicative, working in partnership with the Care Manager , you will play an integral part in managing the daily communications of the branch, whilst liaising with the team to ensure the clients needs are met. Summary As a Care Assistant, you will be essential in providing compassionate support to individuals through home care services. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those you support. Your core skills in communication will enhance your ability to connect with clients and document care effectively.
