As an Associate Electrical Design Engineer, you will… • Lead and manage electrical building services design across a range of sectors, delivering high-quality calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports., • Oversee and contribute to drawing production in AutoCAD and Revit, • Take responsibility for electrical design calculations, including power, lighting, containment, and life safety systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards., • Provide technical leadership from concept through detailed design, coordination, and construction support., • Undertake and review surveys of existing electrical systems, producing clear technical reports., • Lead and review tender documentation, providing technical guidance to the wider team., • Monitor construction progress and support contract administration as a senior technical point of contact., • Oversee witnessing and commissioning activities through to project handover., • Collaborate with clients and the wider design team, building strong working relationships and delivering trusted advice., • Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to team development and continuous improvement., • Ensure compliance with Brookbanks QA procedures and promote best practice across projects.
