Commis Chef & Chef de Partie AA Rosette Restaurant | Fresh, Seasonal Cooking | Modern British | £28,000£33,000 + Service | Sevenoaks (Kent) We are recruiting two Junior Chefs a Commis Chef and a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a well-regarded 1 AA Rosette restaurant in the Sevenoaks area of Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for chefs passionate about fresh, seasonal Modern British cooking and developing their careers in a professional, quality-driven kitchen. All dishes are prepared from scratch , using quality local produce and classic techniques with a contemporary approach. Salary & Package Salary: £28,000£33,000 per annum , depending on experience and position Plus service charge Full-time, permanent roles Excellent training and development opportunities About the Kitchen & Team The Head Chef and senior kitchen team are highly hands-on and supportive , working closely with junior chefs on a daily basis. This is an ideal environment for young chefs or those earlier in their career who are keen to develop, refine and hone their skills within an AA Rosette standard kitchen . Training, mentoring and progression are genuinely encouraged, with exposure to quality ingredients, techniques and consistent standards. Commis Chef Role As a Commis Chef , you will support the kitchen team with preparation and service while learning and developing your skills in a fresh-food, AA Rosette kitchen . Key Responsibilities: Assist with mise en place and food preparation Support cooking and plating during service Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards Learn recipes, techniques and service expectations Work positively as part of a close-knit kitchen team Ideal Commis Chef: Some experience in a professional kitchen Passion for food and learning Strong work ethic and reliability Basic food safety knowledge Chef de Partie Role As a Chef de Partie , you will run your own section, delivering dishes to a consistent AA Rosette standard . Key Responsibilities: Take responsibility for your section during service Prepare, cook and present dishes using fresh ingredients Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation Support and guide junior chefs Manage preparation, stock and organisation within your section Ideal Chef de Partie: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi CDP Background in quality restaurants, pubs or hotel kitchens Strong technical skills and attention to detail Calm and professional under pressure Location & Travel Based in Sevenoaks, Kent Easily commutable from surrounding areas Drivers ideal due to location Why Join?
