About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for a Breakfast Chef de Partie to join the Main Kitchen team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: • Demonstrate exceptional culinary skills in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with the hotel's standards., • Collaborate with the executive chef and sous chef in creating innovative and enticing menus, considering guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and seasonal ingredients., • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices in the kitchen., • Work closely with other members of the culinary team, providing support and assistance as needed, and contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment., • Maintain a keen focus on quality control, conducting regular inspections of ingredients, finished dishes, and presentation to uphold the hotel's culinary excellence., • Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff, ensuring they follow established recipes, techniques, and presentation standards. About you: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: • Formal culinary training or relevant education from a recognized culinary institute., • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on high-end or luxury hotel environments., • Proficient in various culinary techniques, cooking methods, and a diverse range of international cuisines, demonstrating creativity and innovation., • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including coordinating with other kitchen staff and maintaining a well-organized and clean work area., • Certification in food safety and hygiene, ensuring a deep understanding of safe food handling practices and compliance with health and safety regulations.
