As our Materials & Logistics Supervisor, you will report directly to the Logistics Manager and be responsible for the management of a Logistics team within a timber frame manufacturing facility. You will work across automated and manual production lines, maintaining the highest level of safety, environmental and on time in full standards. This role will operate Mon - Thurs from 2pm to 10.30pm and Fridays 2pm to 8pm. Some knowledge of transportation, construction and on-site installation would be beneficial for this roleMore about the Materials & Logistics Supervisor role… Manage staffing requirements in the logistics teams including interviews and inductions, time sheets, allocate work schedules and shift planning Ensure all direct reports are suitably trained to carry out their assigned roles Managing all holidays and absences Conduct any investigations, performance management or other duties as required Resolve operational issues quickly and effectively Lead, coach and develop logistics team to achieve performance targets Maintain paperwork and compliance documentation.
