Project Manager Location: Coalville Shift: 4 days on-site, Fridays WFH Day Rate: £650/day Umbrella or £500/day PAYE + £60/day holiday pay Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:00 (10-hour days) Contract: 12 Months About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take support a key workstream within a large-scale, multi-million-pound automation programme. You will be working as part of a wider programme team alongside multiple Senior Project Managers, Programme Leadership, Project Schedulers, and engineering delivery teams to ensure the successful execution of a complex automation rollout. Key Responsibilities Manage a defined workstream within a wider automation programme Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning activities Lead project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting Control budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking activities Manage customer relationships and key internal stakeholders Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and engineering delivery teams Ensure programme milestones are achieved safely, on time, and to quality standards Support handover into operational service and maintenance phases Programme & Team Structure you will collaborate closely with: Programme Manager Multiple Senior Project Managers Project Schedulers Installation Managers Project Support Teams Testing Engineers Commissioning Engineers About You We are looking for a proven Project Manager with strong experience delivering automation and engineering-led projects. You will be confident managing multiple stakeholders and delivering complex technical packages within structured programme environments. Essential & Desirable Experience: Proven experience delivering warehouse automation or material handling projects Strong background in industrial automation environments Hands-on experience across installation, testing, and commissioning phases Experience working with conveyor systems, robotics, and automated warehouse technologies Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience Experience with systems such as Dematic, Vanderlande, KNAPP, or SSI Schaefer Ability to lead multidisciplinary, on-site delivery teams Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification Strong problem-solving, diplomatic, and delivery-focused approach To be considered for this role please either hit the 'Apply' button on this site or email your CV directly to I can also be contacted directly on (phone number removed).
