Your responsibilities will include: • Planning and coordinating daily rail freight services across multiple terminals, • Monitoring rail service progress and responding to real-time operational issues, • Liaising with rail operators, terminal teams, road planners and customers to maintain service performance, • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, rail regulations, and operational protocols, • Managing train paths, timings, loading plans, and service documentation, • Maximising asset utilisation (locomotives, wagons, terminal equipment), • Maintaining accurate system updates and supporting the generation of operational reports We’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate: • Previous experience working within rail operations, rail freight, or a rail-connected logistics role, • Strong communication and coordination skills within a safety-critical environment, • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail, • Confidence managing multiple services simultaneously under tight time constraints, • Good understanding of rail industry regulations, operating procedures, and train planning principles, • IT proficiency — rail/transport systems, planning software, Microsoft Office Apply Today If you’re ready to join a high-performing rail logistics operation where each day brings a new challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
