This role requires an exceptional academic who has a high potential for national/international research impact, within at least one of the priority areas of: • Clean Energy Industries: Hydrogen and biogas fuels, energy networks, environmental economics, green finance, ethical supply chains, and behavioural change., • Digital and Technologies: AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, spatial intelligence, robotics, human-computer interaction, and digital transformation., • Life Sciences: Drug discovery, diagnostics, pain research, preventative healthcare, wearable biosensors, and public health surveillance., • A developing track record of internationally excellent research achievement with a high potential for national/international impact., • A clear and feasible research vision aligned to at least one of the priority areas of clean energy, digital and technologies, life sciences, or professional and business services., • Potential to secure funding and build interdisciplinary collaborations., • Potential to build links with external organisations, such as the commercial and public sector to drive the translation of research into innovation and to deliver real-world impact.
