At SEM, our Production Operatives work as part of a production cell team to manufacture the parts and the final assembly of high quality electric motors. Responsibilities include: • Carrying out the assembly of motor products by multi-skilling across five process points within the production function. Ensuring that work is produced to an acceptable quality standard before submitting to the next step in the process and ensuring that the speed of production is adequate to meet the agreed output standards., • Operating a variety of equipment to support with the assembly processes, • Working against detailed work instructions to ensure that work is executed to a high and consistent quality standard., • Understanding the Value Stream’s targets and how this contributes towards the company’s goals.
