This Electronics Test Engineer role is based in Chertsey on a 37.5 hr per week contract for 6mths. As an experienced Electronics Technician, you will support our skilled engineering and manufacturing teams to supply high-quality products and systems to the Defence Industry. The successful candidate will be experienced in production inspection, testing and fault finding for electronic modules, units, systems and spares. The role is created to meet deadlines on a high-profile project which requires time management and strong communication. Reporting to: Functional Lead What you’ll do In the Electronics Technician role, you can expect to: • Perform IPC-level inspections of electronic assemblies before the test or as part of the production cycle, • Execute formal test documentation, including recording of results—hardware, software and firmware programme configuration, • Ensure all H&S requirements are met, and the assembly area is maintained as a safe, clean and tidy working environment, • Responsible for maintaining a high quality of work to deadlines provided by the business, • Responsible for recording details of defects found, • Responsible for adhering to the company’s policies and procedures, • Take measurements using common range test equipment, • Provide feedback for test documentation discrepancies, • Become familiar with the operating system and timely record all results and keep an up-to-date narrative What you’ll need To apply for this role you will need • Previous experience working on Defence projects,, • IPC level inspection certification,, • BTEC Electronics qualification (ONC/HNC/HND) or equivalent. Acts up covering the Community Manager responsibilities in his or her absence, ensuring work is organised and executed in line with Greystar expectations. Participates where required in an on call roster to provide out of hours emergency support for the Community. Ensures the operation of the Community complies with Company policies and procedures and any laws and regulations governing housing operations and residential lettings. About You Good level of general education. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook. Proficiency in using property operations software. Training will however, be provided. Experience of successfully driving leasing/sales performance and managing operations including P&L responsibility and budget monitoring within the property sector or similar environment. Detailed knowledge of Landlord/Tenant Legislation A strong team player but capable of working autonomously and taking ownership. Flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to thriving in a changing environment. Self and culturally aware and able to adapt relationship building, communications and negotiation skills to suit audience. Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
