We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join our production team, specialising in the fabrication of excavator buckets and heavy-duty attachments. You’ll be working with mild steel, carrying out multi-run MIG welds, and producing robust, high-quality components built to withstand tough environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n MIG welding (multi-run) on mild steel plate and structural components\n\n * \n\n Reading and working from engineering drawings\n\n * \n\n Operating workshop machinery, tools, and equipment safely\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all welds meet quality and safety standards\n\n * \n\n Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven MIG welding experience (preferably in heavy fabrication)\n\n * \n\n Strong ability to carry out multi-pass runs on mild steel\n\n * \n\n Competent in reading fabrication/engineering drawings\n\n * \n\n Good attention to detail and commitment to quality\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently or as part of a team\n\nShifts and Pay Rates\n\nShifts are Monday to Thursday nightshifs starting at 9pm. Paid for 10 hours daily. We are currently looking for experienced MIG and TIG welder to work for one of our clients in sunderland.\n\nThis role will be starting on a temporary basis however will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate after a number of weeks. Ideally you will be from a background within Welding and Fabrication.\n\nPay rate for welders with MIG experience is £14.06 and for welders with both MIG and TIG experience £15.34.\n\nThe role will initially start on a day shift but will likely move onto shifts in time, the working hours are as follows;\n\nDay shift: Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 4.00pm, and 7.00am to 12.15pm Friday.\n\nSkills and Experience:\n\n * Experience of working with metal products\n\n * Welding or Fabrication background\n\n * Reliable & Hardworking\n\n * MIG Welding\n\n * TIG Welding\n\nDue to the high volume of candidates responding to our adverts unfortunately we are not always able to provide individual feedback.
