You will lead the operational delivery of Alternative Dispute Resolution, support court preparation and representPfPas an expert witness whererequired, while ensuring compliance with key legislation such as the Fit for Human Habitation Act 2019 and disrepair protocols. Working collaboratively across Repair Operations, the field, contractormanagementand strategic operations, you will drive ajoined upapproach to managing disrepair risk, take accountability for budgets,compensationand forecasting, and promote a proactive culture focused on prevention, best practice and reducing legal exposure across the organisation. This is a hybrid role basedfromour Preston office, with an expectation to attend the office two days per week. Essential Criteria • Relevant technical qualification with demonstrable knowledge of housing disrepair, building pathology and related legislation, • Proven experience managing housing disrepair cases within a social housing environment, • Experience applying housing legislation in practice, including the Fit for Human Habitation Act 2019, • Proven ability to communicate effectively with solicitors, operationalteamsand internal stakeholders, • Previousexperience managing or supervising people,workloadsor performance, • Experience working with solicitors or attending court as an expert witness., • Knowledge of ADR processes., • Familiarity with case management systems and producing legal level evidence packs. You have proven experience managing housing disrepair cases within a social housing or legal environment, with a strong understanding of building pathology, damp and mould, and the legislation governing disrepair. You are highly organised and quality focused, able to manage fast moving andhigh volumecaseloads while analysing data toidentifytrends, reduce breaches and control cost.
