Our client is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses to join their state-of-the-art care home in Newcastle. The Role As a Registered Nurse for our client, you'll provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that goes beyond clinical excellence. You'll be instrumental in creating a safe, welcoming community where residents maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. Your Key Responsibilities • Deliver exceptional person-centred nursing care that exceeds RCN and NMC standards, • Lead and coordinate resident care plans in collaboration with the wider care team, • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor resident wellbeing, • Manage medication administration safely and in accordance with policies and procedures, • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to care staff, promoting best practices, • Build trusting relationships with residents and their families, ensuring excellent communication, • Support residents to maintain independence and achieve their personal care goals, • Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with CQC regulations, • Liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate care, • Take management responsibility for shifts as directed by the Manager or Deputy What We're Looking For Essential Requirements • Valid NMC registration (RGN, RMN, or RNLD), • Minimum 6 months recent UK nursing experience, • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, • Ability to prioritise effectively and manage time in a fast-paced environment, • Commitment to person-centred care and resident dignity, • Right to work in the United Kingdom, • Satisfactory DBS check and professional references Desirable • Previous experience in elderly care or care home settings, • Experience with complex clinical needs and end-of-life care, • Full UK driving licence (beneficial for community liaison) What We Offer • Competitive hourly rate: £22-23 per hour, • Free on-site parking, • Uniform provided at no cost, • Supportive, friendly working environment with a dynamic professional team, • Comprehensive induction and ongoing professional development opportunities, • Regular supervision and clinical support, • Opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped care environment, • Company social events and team-building activities
