Shop Assistant – Deli & Coffee Shop We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Shop Assistant to join our team at Zerdo, a premium Spanish deli and coffee shop in Tunbridge Wells. You’ll be working in a small, passionate team and helping customers discover high-quality Spanish cheeses, charcuterie, olive oils and speciality products, while also serving coffee, sandwiches and deli counter orders. What we’re looking for: • Previous experience in retail, food service or sales (required), • Friendly and confident with customers, • Interest in food, coffee and premium products, • Reliable, organised and proactive, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment What you’ll do: • Serve and advise customers in store, • Prepare coffee, sandwiches and deli counter orders, • Slice and package cheese & charcuterie, • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, • Restock shelves and keep the shop looking great, • Provide a great customer experience every day
