About the Role We are looking for a talented and driven Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a high-end, fresh food gastro pub in Tonbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to work with high-quality, seasonal ingredients in a busy, well-respected kitchen. Key Responsibilities • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, • Help lead and motivate the kitchen brigade during busy services, • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, • Assist with menu development using fresh, seasonal produce, • Ensure all food hygiene, health, and safety standards are maintained, • Manage stock control, ordering, and minimise waste, • Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie in a fresh food environment, • Experience working in a busy, high-volume kitchen, • Passion for quality ingredients and modern British gastro pub food, • Strong organisational skills and ability to perform under pressure, • Good leadership and communication skills
