Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver / Removals Professional to join our friendly and hardworking team. The Role As a Class 2 HGV Driver / Removals Porter, you will combine professional driving responsibilities with hands-on removals and porter duties. Your responsibilities will include: • Acting as a professional and friendly point of contact for customers., • Keeping customers informed throughout the removal process., • Driving 18-tonne, 12-tonne, 7.5-tonne and 3.5-tonne vehicles between warehouses and customer locations., • Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are clean, fuelled, roadworthy and legally parked., • Complying with all relevant driving laws, regulations and restrictions., • Safely loading, unloading, handling and transporting customer goods., • Working efficiently as part of a removals team., • Planning moves and deliveries carefully to ensure a smooth and professional service., • Providing excellent customer service at all times., • Following company policies and procedures relating to driver, vehicle and workplace safety., • Carrying out general removals and porter duties as required. About You We are looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, professional, physically fit and customer-focused. As I’m returning to university soon and go through a lot of shoes, I’m looking for a reliable local person to help clean batches of shoes when needed. 🧽 The Job You’ll collect batches of shoes from my home, take them home to clean, and return them once finished. I provide the cleaning supplies and will show you exactly how I clean the shoes and the standard I expect, so no previous experience is needed. The shoes need to be properly and thoroughly cleaned — not just given a quick wipe. Some pairs will be relatively easy, while others will be dirtier and require more scrubbing, patience and time. I understand that some stains, discolouration and signs of wear simply cannot be removed. I don’t expect perfection or for excessive time to be spent trying to remove permanent marks. However, I do expect a genuine effort and good-quality clean on every pair, while taking care not to damage different materials. If a pair has clearly not been cleaned to the standard I’ve demonstrated, I will ask for it to be cleaned again before payment for that pair. 💷 Pay & Workload £2 per pair – fixed rate. For example: 10 pairs = £20 20 pairs = £40 30 pairs = £60 50 pairs = £100 The amount of work will vary. One batch could be 10 pairs, another 30 or 50+, and some weeks I may not have any shoes that need cleaning. Please treat this as a flexible side hustle rather than guaranteed regular employment.     Retail Stock Taker Driver RGIS is the UK’s leading stocktaking company, working with top retailers such as Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Waitrose. We are looking for energetic and reliable people to join our growing teams. No experience is needed – we provide full training and offer flexible shifts to fit your lifestyle. As a Retail Stock Taker Driver, you will work as part of an experienced and supportive team, counting and scanning products using our RGIS handheld device, usually outside of store opening hours. You might not know RGIS yet, but you’ll definitely recognize the stores you’ll be working with! In addition to participating in the stocktaking event, you will also be responsible for transporting our teams to and from customers sites, using either your own vehicle of one of the company’s fleet. We are looking for people who are: • Punctual, reliable and great team players, • Comfortable working unsociable hours, including early mornings, late nights and Sundays, • Thorough and precise in their work, • Physically able to stand for long periods and use ladders/step stools safely, • Full UK Driving licence with a safe and responsible driving style What we offer • The opportunity to earn up to £15.55 per hour, • Starting hourly rate up to £13.55, • Up to £2 per hour additional performance-based bonus, • Additional payments for travel events, • Mileage compensation payments when using own vehicle for work, • Up to 28 days’ paid holiday per year, • Guaranteed-hours contract (16–32 hours) available after the probation period, depending on performance and availability, • Flexible work schedules received three weeks in advance via our dedicated app, • Fantastic career progression opportunities We welcome applicants from all backgrounds - RGIS is proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer
