\nTrainee Traffic Installation Technician\n\n Telent are now looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join a talented team of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting specialists in the Carlisle area. Due to growth and demand from our customer(s), we in a position to grow the Traffic team in this region. Help build and keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7. \n Trainee Traffic Installation Technician - What youll do: \n As a trainee within our Traffic Signals team, a typical day would see you working closely with one of our experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain and test a range of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting units and all Electrical components and equipment that compliment, in and around the Carlisle region. \n Training will not just be in a classroom, itll be a mixture of on the job learning, desk-based and online learning, which will help you progress towards achieving an NVQ Level 2 in Highways Electrical Installations (led by LANTRA), then the NVQ Level 3, and finally, all Sector based certifications such as ECS and the National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS) Chapter 8. \n Trainee Traffic Installation Technician - Who you are: \n You will naturally have an intrigue and interest in field-based Engineering, and ideally already have some exposure to anything Electrical Installations focused whether thats working with electrical equipment, lighting, controllers, detection boxes etc, or youve had some experience in a College course.
