This is a hands-on, senior position with the responsibility of driving financial performance and supporting long-term business growth. This role is fully office-based at our clients site on the outskirts of Cambridgeshire. About the Role In this role, you will take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, tax planning, audit, compliance, and risk management across the European region. You will play an integral part in shaping financial strategy and supporting senior leaders with data-driven insights. You’ll also lead a regional finance team and collaborate with cross-functional departments as well as international headquarters. Key Responsibilities Financial Operations • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, • Ensure compliance with relevant local and international accounting standards, • Identify and mitigate financial and tax risks, • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, • Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement, • Minimum 15 years of experience in finance/accounting, including 5+ years in leadership, • 3-5 years working with EMEA entities, • Strong understanding of European financial regulations and accounting standards, • Experience working within a multinational organisation with overseas HQ, • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, • Strong communication and presentation skills; multilingual skills beneficial, • A senior role within a forward-thinking, innovative global organisation, • Opportunity to influence regional financial strategy, • A collaborative environment supporting professional growth, • Competitive salary (£65000-£85,000 d.o.e) and comprehensive benefits
