    Roaming Roast is looking for someone to run our Borehamwood coffee truck at weekends. Your main responsibilities will be: -Driving the tuktuk to its location from our storage facility -Lead barista throughout the day (you will be supported by another barista) -Ensuring standards of quality and hygiene are upheld Hours: 7.30-4pm Saturday and Sunday There will always be additional hours available during the week should you wish to take them but this is not required. You must have held a full driving licence for 2 years and be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes. We are a small chain of specialty coffee trucks operating in London and Hertfordshire. Our ideal candidate is someone who has multiple years of experience as a barista and someone who is able to demonstrate their ability think and act independently. As a small business, you'll wear many hats other than just barista. As we're an outdoor coffee truck, someone who enjoys being out in all weathers essential and being a practical problem solver is highly desirable. With approximately 120 employees, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised Senior Payroll and Accounts Officer to manage our payroll and day-to-day finance functions. This role would particularly suit an experienced payroll manager, finance officer, bookkeeper, or retired/semi-retired accountant seeking a rewarding and flexible part-time position. Key Responsibilities • Manage weekly and monthly payroll for approximately 120 employees, • Ensure accurate PAYE, National Insurance, pension, and HMRC submissions., • Administer workplace pensions and auto-enrolment., • Process staff expenses and travel claims., • Maintain purchase and sales ledgers., • Raise invoices and reconcile customer payments., • Carry out bank reconciliations., • Monitor cash flow, debtor balances, and credit control., • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports., • Liaise with the external accountant regarding month-end and year-end accounts., • Maintain accurate payroll and financial records., • Ensure compliance with HMRC, employment legislation, and financial procedures., • Identify opportunities to improve payroll and financial processes. Essential Requirements • At least 5 years' experience in payroll and accounts., • Strong knowledge of PAYE, RTI, pensions, and HMRC regulations., • Experience using payroll and accounting software such as BrightPay, Xero, or QuickBooks., • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills., • High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail., • Excellent organisational and communication skills., • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Desirable • AAT qualification or equivalent., • Experience within the health or social care sector., • Knowledge of payroll for shift workers and variable-hour employees.
