We take pride in our 100% Ofsted rating of Good or Outstanding across all our Education services. \n\n Your Role\n As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in enhancing the well-being and learning readiness of our students. Your responsibilities will include: \n \n • Supporting the improvement of well-being, resilience, and behavior management.\n, • Collaborating with the Education team to help students overcome barriers to learning.\n, • Promoting positive learning behaviors.\n, • Leading classes during PPA and absence cover, with planning support from teaching staff.\n, • Delivering engaging enrichment activities.\n, • Assisting in lessons to address academic, emotional, or behavioral needs.\n, • Responding to immediate concerns and clarifying situations.\n, • Creating and organizing information related to lessons and interventions.\n, • Preparing relevant information for pupil meetings.\n, • Advocating for the ethos of Elmy Hall School.\n, • Leading on Reading and Phonics, reviewing student progress.\n, • Developing the Pupil Voice and liaising with SLT about the Pupil Council.\n, • A strong educational background, with at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics, along with sound IT skills.\n, • Previous experience in a similar role, such as HLTA.\n, • Experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.\n, • Confidence to take on additional responsibilities in areas like Food Hygiene, Forest School, Lunchtimes, or School Yoga.\n, • Experience in behavior management techniques.\n, • A workplace that prioritizes the emotional health and well-being of everyone, including you!\n, • Support for your professional development through a variety of opportunities.\n, • The chance to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children who deserve high-quality teaching.\n
