Become a Lead Sports Coach and Designated Safeguard Lead – Empower, Lead, and Make an Impact! Are you a natural leader with a passion for sports and a commitment to safeguarding? We’re looking for dynamic Lead Coaches to join our team, where you'll manage larger sports sessions, serve as a Designated Safeguard Lead, and help children and elderly residents across primary schools and care homes in Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. What You’ll Do: • Lead with Excellence: Manage and oversee larger group sessions, ensuring they are engaging, inclusive, and fun for all participants., • Safeguarding Champion: Act as the Designated Safeguard Lead, maintaining the highest standards of safety and well-being for all young people in our programs., • Coach and Mentor: Use your coaching expertise to inspire and develop young athletes, regardless of their skill level, fostering a love for sports and healthy competition., • Innovate and Adapt: Design and deliver creative, high-energy sports activities that cater to a wide range of ages and abilities, promoting teamwork, confidence, and physical fitness., • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with other coaches, school staff, parents, and community members to ensure a positive and supportive environment for every child., • Grow and Develop: Support and mentor a team of coaches, sharing best practices, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement., • Grow the Business: Speak to schools and care homes and run trial sessions to expand our reach. What We’re Looking For: • Experienced Coaches: You have substantial experience in coaching and leading large groups, with a deep understanding of various sports disciplines., • Natural Leaders: You're confident, organised, and have a knack for managing and motivating both young athletes and fellow coaches., • Safeguarding Experts: You’re knowledgeable in safeguarding protocols, prepared to act as a Designated Safeguard Lead, and are committed to the highest standards of child protection., • Adaptable Communicators: Your excellent communication skills enable you to connect with diverse groups, from children and parents to school staff and other coaches., • Certified Professionals: You hold relevant coaching qualifications, a current First Aid certificate, and an Enhanced DBS check or are prepared to obtain one., • Mobility Ready: You possess a full driving licence and have the flexibility to travel across the area to various schools and sports venues. Preferred: • An NGB Level 2 Coaching Qualification and prior experience in a leadership role within a coaching setting.
