We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has good attention to detail and enjoys working in a professional, friendly workshop environment. The Role As a Motor Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of servicing, repairs, maintenance and diagnostic work across a variety of makes and models. Your responsibilities will include: • Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance, • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, • Brake, suspension, steering and exhaust repairs, • Timing belt and timing chain replacements, • Clutch and gearbox repairs, • Carrying out vehicle inspections and fault finding, • Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults, • Completing MOT-related repairs, • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, • Carrying out safety checks and road tests where required, • Maintaining a clean and organised working area, • Providing accurate feedback on vehicle condition and additional work required, • Working as part of a friendly and supportive workshop team About You We are looking for a technician who: • Has proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician, • Has strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, • Can work independently and as part of a team, • Takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship, • Has excellent attention to detail, • Is reliable, punctual and professional, • Has a positive attitude and good communication skills, • Holds a full UK driving licence, • Is able to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment MOT Licence Preferred An MOT Tester licence would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential.
