Managing Director Industry: Building Products Location: Open for the right person Are you a commercially focused sales leader ready to step into full business leadership and shape the next phase of growth? This is a rare opportunity to take full P&L ownership and lead profitable growth for a well-established, highly regarded manufacturer of building products. We’re looking for a commercially minded business leader with a track record of accelerating sales and market share within building products (or adjacent construction materials/manufacturing sectors), ideally in an international/group environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering an ambitious five-year growth plan bringing pace, focus and leadership across commercial, operations and people development. Key responsibilities • Set clear direction and lead with a visible, hands-on, collaborative style., • Deliver profitable sales growth across a broad building products portfolio., • Strengthen production, planning and supply chain to improve service, quality and cost performance., • Grow market share through strategic customer engagement, targeted commercial initiatives and product portfolio development., • Build a high-performing team developing talent, succession and engagement across the business. What we’re looking for • Senior leadership experience within manufacturing ideally construction products/building materials, HVAC or an adjacent sector., • Proven commercial leadership with measurable sales growth and margin improvement., • Strong operations exposure (supply chain, production, planning) with a continuous improvement mindset., • Ability to create and execute a clear strategic plan translating ambition into delivery., • Results-driven, credible and hands-on/comfortable leading from the front in a fast-paced environment.
