Van Driver Al Dente are looking for a professional and qualified van driver (Van Model: Peugeot Boxer L1 H1 333 Refrigerated Chiller Van) to join our team part-time. The van driver will be in charge of pick up and transport of food from our central production kitchen in South Kensington, and delivery to our restaurants (locations: Fitzrovia, Hackney, Angel, City of London). Morning shifts, 5 days a week approx. from 7 AM until 12 PM (25hrs). Competitive salary: £13.00 x hour To be considered, you must: - Hold Full clean UK manual license - No Drink driving/insurance-related offences - Strong knowledge of London as you will be delivering items to multiple addresses - Must load and unload the vehicle
Drive company vehicles in west London - Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition. - Communicate with customers to confirm pick up / drop offs details and address any concerns or issues. - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle. - Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure Etc. - Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, pcv, cpc and tachograph is required. - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues effectively. - Strong organizational skills to manage routes efficiently. - Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles. - Flexibility to work from early morning, evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed - This is self employed, adhoc /zero hour contract. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and follow instructions. Requirements: Valid PCO license. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 3 years of driving experience. Excellent knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a PCO driver or in a similar role. Proficiency in using GPS and other navigation systems. First aid certification is a plus.
