Electronics Design Engineer – Contract (2–3 months, likely extension) £400–450 per day – Ltd company friendly Location: Bury St Edmunds area (hybrid flexibility) We’re partnering with a leading technology manufacturer working at the forefront of robotics, automation and broadcast television. As they enter a busy phase of new product development, we’re looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join on a contract basis and support both ongoing R&D and updates to existing lines. You'll be joining a highly skilled engineering team tackling complex design challenges across analogue, digital and embedded systems. This is a hands-on role where your work directly contributes to innovative, next-generation products used worldwide. What you’ll be working on: • Designing and developing electronic circuits (analogue and digital), • Schematic capture and PCB layout for new and existing products, • Microprocessor-based design and programmable logic work, • Component-level programming and debugging, • Electronics testing, validation and fault-finding, • Supporting EMC, safety and environmental compliance activities, • Strong background in electronics design at circuit and PCB level, • Experience with PADs, Mentor Graphics or similar tools, • Comfortable working with microprocessors, programmable logic and embedded electronics, • Solid fault-finding and test experience, • Bonus: exposure to robotics, motion systems or motor control If you’re an experienced Electronics Design Engineer ready to make an impact on exciting technology, we’d love to hear from you.
