As a Gardener, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining various outdoor spaces, including residential gardens, commercial properties, and public parks. Your primary goal will be to create and maintain visually appealing and healthy landscapes that exceed our clients' expectations. Responsibilities: Perform routine gardening tasks such as planting, watering, pruning, and weeding. Monitor plant health and identify and address pest and disease issues. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and fertilizing as needed. Install and maintain irrigation systems. Design and implement landscape plans in collaboration with clients and landscape designers. Operate and maintain gardening equipment and tools. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Requirements: Proven experience as a Gardener or similar role. Proficiency in gardening techniques and practices. Knowledge of plant varieties, soil types, and environmental factors affecting plant growth. Ability to operate gardening equipment and tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license too be required.

We are looking for a hands-on, reliable team member to support day-to-day operations at our garden centre in London N7. The role includes a wide range of tasks: loading and unloading stock, caring for plants, restocking displays, and ensuring the centre is clean, tidy, and well-presented. Occasional work may also be required at our store in London E5. This is an entry-level position with a strong emphasis on practical outdoor work. You must be physically fit and able to safely lift and carry up to 30kg. Daily duties may include moving pallets, lifting compost bags, and watering plants, so attention to detail and pride in maintaining a neat, organised space are essential. A minimum of 24 working hours per week is required. An interest in plants, along with reliability and a strong work ethic, are key. While not essential, a full UK driving licence is a plus, as there may be occasional stock transfers between sites. This is a great opportunity to begin a career in the gardening sector, with the potential to take on more responsibility over time. No prior experience is required — just enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard.
