Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and team management. - Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, maintaining product quality, and promptly resolving customer concerns or issues. - Lead, train, and inspire a team of coffee enthusiasts, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. - Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve sales targets, maximize profitability, and drive business growth. - Monitor and manage stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and merchandise, placing orders as necessary to maintain product availability. - Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment. - Uphold the quality and consistency of coffee preparation, ensuring adherence to company standards and providing guidance to the team. Requirements: - Previous experience in the specialty coffee industry or a similar managerial role. - Proficiency in espresso extraction, including grind adjustment, dosing, and tamping techniques. - Skill in creating and pouring latte art designs, showcasing attention to detail and craftsmanship. - Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing a team. - Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under the pressure. - Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays. - A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to teamwork. - Food handling certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.
