As the Team leader you will be responsible for coordinating team activities, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient working environment. The Role As Project CAD Design Technician, you will prepare accurate technical drawings for customer approval, internal manufacture, and site installation. You will produce 2D AutoCAD layout and manufacturing drawings, create cutting data for CNC profiling machines, and maintain the ERP system with items and Bills of Materials to support material requisition. You will interpret information from job files, customer specifications, and estimating data, track drawing revisions, and ensure current information is issued to customers and available for reference. Working closely with Project Managers, Technical, Production, Commercial, and SHEQ teams, you will support the delivery of large projects through drawing schedules and revision tracking, maintain drawing schedules via the project work planner, assist with QA processes and document control, and contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards and drawing workflows. You will also collaborate across teams to support inter-divisional and multi-disciplinary projects. On-site visits for measurement and detail capture may be required on occasion. This is very much a development role, and the right attitude is just as important as technical ability.
