Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager x2 Location: Hove, Brighton (HQ) or Nottingham (Remote but preferably close to either location) Reports To: Operations Manager Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Overview: The Shore Group are a multi-service, sector-driven business, seeking 2 Senior Construction Project Managers who are close to either our Hove office or Nottingham office. These individuals will lead and oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction or engineering projects, managing and developing a team of Project Managers, Site Managers, and Supervisors. Working in our Integrated Services division of The Group, you will report directly to the Operations Manager, the role ensures all projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, to the highest quality standards whilst maintaining strong client relationships and driving continuous improvement. The individual will ideally have 3-7 years' Project Management experience with a proven track record managing complex programmes valued up to £15million. Experience demonstrating team leadership managing 5-10 professionals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership & Team Management • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, Site Managers, and Supervisors across multiple live projects, • Ensure compliance to Group ways of working at all levels (direct & sub-contract), • Filter, prioritise, and allocate workload for balanced delivery and maximum efficiency., • Set clear performance targets, conduct regular reviews, and foster accountability and professional growth, • Oversee end-to-end project delivery to meet programme, cost, and quality expectations, • Monitor project performance through regular progress meetings and site visits, • Support PMs to resolve complex technical, commercial, or delivery challenges, • Implement standardised project controls, templates, and reporting systems, • Collaborate with QSs and PMs to manage budgets, cash flow, and profitability, • Review and approve tender submissions, • Ensure accurate forecasting and cost reporting across all projects, • Champion the company’s HSEQ culture and ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, company H&S policies, and statutory obligations, • Implement and monitor new and enhanced safety requirements, • Conduct regular safety leadership visits and promote a safety-first culture, • Act as the senior operational point of contact for key clients, frameworks, and consultants, • Lead client review meetings delivering high standards of communication and satisfaction, • Contribute to departmental strategy, budgets, and resource planning, • Review and improve project delivery processes to enhance efficiency and performance, • Support the integration of digital tools for project management, H&S, and reporting, • Embed a culture of accountability, communication, and improvement across all levels, • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and operational resilience, • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and safety-focused working culture across the division, • Develop staff to build leadership, project management, and client engagement capabilities If you are seeking a new opportunity & your experience aligns with this role, please apply today!
