The Opportunity We’re looking for a skilled Painter & Decorator to join a specialist Passive Fire Protection team. This is a hands-on, mobile role where you’ll carry out high-quality internal and external decorating works, including remedial finishing, across a range of sites nationwide. Key Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality painting and decorating work (internal & external), • Carry out remedial works to meet client and project requirements, • Ensure all work complies with industry standards, H&S, and regulations, • Assess job scope and estimate time, materials, and labour needs, • Plan and manage your workload efficiently to meet deadlines, • Work within a scheduled appointment system, liaising with clients and team members, • Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times, • Install and work from access equipment such as scaffold towers and platforms, • Maintain clear communication with your line manager regarding progress and changes What We’re Looking For Essential: • NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating, • PASMA certification (tower scaffolding), • IPAF certification (boom/vertical), • Proven experience in painting & decorating (internal & external), • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, • Ability to manage workload and adapt to changing schedules, • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel Desirable: • CSCS card, • Customer-facing experience with strong communication skills, • Professional, punctual, and team-oriented attitude What’s on Offer • Competitive salary with progression after probation, • Company vehicle or travel allowance (where applicable), • Uniform and PPE provided, • 23 days holiday + bank holidays, • Private healthcare, • Company events, • Pension scheme, • Sick pay, • Health & wellbeing support, • A supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking team environment, • Ongoing training and development opportunities
