We are close to the A50, M1 and M42 and within a short commute time from Derby, Nottingham and Leicester About the role.\n \nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who wants to develop their skills further working in a fast paced and skilled team. The role of the Engine Stand Operative will involve the inspection, service and repair of Engine Stands. \n \nKey Tasks & Responsibilities: \n\nInitial visual inspection of engine stands & products delivered.\nUpon receipt of job sheet, ability to prepare stands to specification ready for dispatch.\nTo service and where required repair the engine stands to required specification\nTaking delivery of products and storage of such in the ESR facility.\nResponsibility for stock control of MVP bags.\nRegular communication with customers.\nProvision of ESR services & duties on site at customer premises/sites throughout the UK.\nGeneral workshop duties including the good housekeeping of the workshop area.\nThe safe operation of the forklift truck and other mechanical equipment at all times.\nManual handling of items following laid down procedures and adhering to Health & Safety standards.\nAny other reasonable duties as assigned by the ESR Supervisor.\n About You:\n\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings;\nSome previous knowledge of mechanical engineering processes.\nPrevious experience of using hand held tools essential.\nAble to judge multiple priorities and prioritise tasks accordingly.\nDexterity.\nFLT experience is desirable.\nOverhead crane experience would be advantageous, but training will be provided to the successful candidate.\nBasic Maths and English knowledge.\nHolder of a full driving licence and a valid passport and have the ability to travel internationally.\n \nYou may have experience of the following: Workshop Operative, Mechanical Technician, Ground Support Equipment Technician, Aviation Maintenance Operative, Engineering Technician, Maintenance Operative, Equipment Service Technician, Workshop Technician, Aerospace Ground Operative, MRO Technician.\n \nREF-(Apply online only)
