Warehouse Manager Location: Cheetham Hill, Manchester Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm About the Company Our client is an established and growing fashion business with a strong heritage in womenswear. Their focus remains on delivering value to both retail partners and end consumers through a combination of commercial insight and design innovation. The Role We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Warehouse Manager to lead operations at their site in Cheetham Hill, Manchester. This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, managing staff, and ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Overseeing all day-to-day warehouse operations, • Managing, supervising, and motivating warehouse staff, • Ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, • Implementing and maintaining effective stock control processes, • Conducting regular stock takes and ensuring inventory accuracy, • Optimising warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, • Ensuring garments are handled and stored to a high standard, • Maintaining health & safety standards and compliance at all times, • Liaising with internal teams regarding stock levels, orders, and deliveries, • Monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement Candidate Requirements • Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse role, • Experience within clothing, textiles, or retail environments is highly desirable, • Strong leadership and team management skills, • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, • Good IT skills, including experience with stock management systems, • Knowledge of health & safety regulations within a warehouse setting, • Forklift licence (preferred but not essential), • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail, • Right to work in the UK What’s on Offer • Competitive salary, • Monday to Friday working pattern (8:00am – 5:00pm), • Opportunity to join a well-established and growing fashion business, • Autonomy to shape and improve warehouse operations, • Supportive working environment with long-term progression potential
