Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Home: Working hours are variable, averaging 37 hours per week (160 per month), scheduled Monday to Sunday with advance notice, including a 45-minute unpaid daily break; the role includes one weekly sleep-in shift and may require additional hours, including public holidays and covering staff absence. £37000 - £39000 per annum dependent on experience. As a Deputy Manager, you will help shape the culture, guide the team, and create a home where young people are truly seen, valued, and supported. Who You Are: You are someone who leads with consistency, compassion, and clarity. You can stay steady in the challenge and inspire others to do the same. Essential skills: • Experience in a residential childcare setting, at a leadership level, • Full UK driving licence, • Level 3 Children's Residential Qualified (or equivalent) Desirable skills (we can support you to achieve these): • Level 4/5 Leadership & Management qualification., • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and PACE Safeguarding Commitment: Safety is at the heart of everything we do.
