We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor, who will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture across a well-established business. He successful candidate will support the operational teams to work safely and compliantly, ensuring the company meets its legal and regulatory health, safety, and environmental obligations. This is a hands-on role that will involve travel between the Doncaster head office and other operational sites. \n \n As an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for: \n\n • Support the development, implementation, and review of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures\n, • Carry out site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across depots and operational sites\n, • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, producing reports and recommending corrective actions\n, • Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training to staff and site teams\n, • Monitor and advise on compliance with current H&S legislation and industry best practice\n, • Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, training, and incidents\n, • Support the business in maintaining accreditations and compliance certifications\n, • Liaise with site managers, drivers, and operational staff to embed a strong safety culture\n, • Assist with the preparation of method statements and risk assessments (RAMS)\n, • Keep up to date with changes in HSE legislation and communicate relevant updates to the business\n\n \n The ideal candidate will be: \n\n • NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)\n, • Proven experience in a similar HSE Advisor or Health & Safety role, ideally within construction, quarrying, logistics, or a similar industrial environment\n, • Full UK driving licence (essential) - this role requires travel between sites\n, • Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation\n, • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with staff at all levels, from drivers and site operatives through to senior management\n, • Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail\n, • IT literate, comfortable producing reports and maintaining records\n
