We're currently partnering with a high-growth, highly profitable FMCG / retail distribution business with an international footprint to appoint a Head of Finance – a true No.1 finance role reporting directly to a highly commercial and driven Managing Director. \n\n This is a key leadership position for a senior finance professional who wants to operate at the heart of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business and play a critical role in shaping its next phase of growth. \n\n As Head of Finance, you will take full ownership of the finance function and act as a trusted commercial partner to the MD and wider leadership team. You will be responsible for both strategic and operational finance, driving performance, insight and decision-making across the business. \n\n Key responsibilities include: \n\n\n\t • Leading the overall financial strategy of the business\n\t, • Providing commercial insight to support growth and profitability\n\t, • Budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning\n\t, • Cashflow management and working capital optimisation\n\t, • Developing financial systems, reporting and controls\n\t, • Leading, mentoring and building a high-performing finance team\n\t, • A current or aspiring Head of Finance / Finance Director\n\t, • Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)\n\t, • Experienced within FMCG, retail, distribution or a similar commercial sector\n\t, • Commercially minded with strong business partnering skills\n\t, • Comfortable operating as a No.1 finance lead in an entrepreneurial setting\n\t, • A genuine seat at the leadership table\n\t, • Direct influence on business strategy and growth\n\t, • A dynamic, high-performance culture\n\t, • Significant autonomy and visibility\n\n\n
