Senior Electrical Estimator – South Wales 💰 £65,000 – £70,000 + Company Vehicle + Bonus We’re currently partnered with a well-established and growing M&E contractor who are looking to bring in a Senior Electrical Estimator to strengthen their commercial function. This is a key hire for the business, playing a lead role in securing high-value projects and supporting the continued growth of their electrical division across commercial and industrial sectors. The Role: • Lead the preparation of detailed and accurate electrical estimates for projects ranging from £500k to multi-million-pound installations, • Take ownership of the full tender process from enquiry through to submission, • Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation in detail, • Produce comprehensive take-offs, cost plans, and pricing strategies, • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners, • Support and mentor junior estimators within the team, • Identify and manage commercial risks, opportunities, and value engineering options, • Contribute to bid strategy, programme considerations, and overall project viability, • Attend pre- and post-tender meetings where required What we’re looking for: • Proven experience in a Senior Electrical Estimator position within M&E / building services, • Strong track record of pricing and winning medium to large-scale projects, • Excellent technical knowledge of electrical installations and systems, • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of market rates, • Ability to lead tenders independently and work under pressure to deadlines, • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members, • Confident communicator, both internally and client-facing What’s on offer: • Company vehicle, • Bonus scheme linked to performance / project wins, • Strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work, • Clear progression into Lead Estimator / Commercial Management, • Stable, growing business with a solid reputation in the market
