    About Us Bella Capri Wimbledon is an elegant, premium Italian restaurant offering authentic cuisine, exceptional wines, and warm, professional service. We pride ourselves on delivering a refined yet welcoming dining experience inspired by the Amalfi Coast. We are now looking for experienced, passionate Waiting Staff to join our opening team. Role Overview As an Experienced Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding table service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. You will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences and representing the Bella Capri brand with confidence and professionalism. Key Responsibilities • Provide professional, attentive, and knowledgeable table service, • Deliver food and beverages efficiently and to high presentation standards, • Demonstrate strong menu knowledge (food, wine, specials, allergens), • Confidently recommend dishes and upsell wines, desserts, and specials, • Ensure tables are impeccably set and maintained throughout service, • Handle guest queries and resolve complaints calmly and professionally, • Work closely with the bar and kitchen team for smooth service flow, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant floor, • Follow all health & safety and food hygiene regulations, • Support team members during busy periods Requirements • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a quality restaurant environment, • Experience in premium, Italian, or high-volume hospitality preferred, • Strong understanding of service etiquette, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus), • Good knowledge of wine and Italian cuisine (training provided), • Well-presented and professional appearance, • Ability to remain calm under pressure, • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends, • Right to work in the UK What We Offer • Competitive hourly rate + tronc, • Staff meals on duty, • Career progression opportunities, • Ongoing training & development, • Positive, supportive team environment, • Opportunity to be part of an exciting restaurant launch Ideal Candidate You are passionate about hospitality, confident in service, and take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
