Location: Shepherd’s Bush, Hammersmith & Fulham Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Pay: £92.63 – £106.52 per day (depending on experience) A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Shepherd’s Bush is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. This full-time role will involve supporting pupils across the school with a range of additional needs, including Autism, social and emotional needs, and challenging behaviour. The school is looking for a calm, proactive, and adaptable individual who is passionate about supporting children and helping them access learning in a positive and structured environment. Trial days and interviews will be taking place after the half term break. The Role: • Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis across the school, • Working with children with Autism, SEMH needs, and behavioural challenges, • Helping pupils regulate emotions and engage positively with learning, • Supporting classroom routines, transitions, and social development, • Working closely with teachers, the SENCo, and pastoral staff to implement strategies, • Providing support both inside and outside of the classroom where required The Ideal Candidate: • Experience supporting children with SEN or behavioural needs, • A calm, resilient, and patient approach, • Confident managing challenging behaviour positively and consistently, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Passionate about supporting children’s emotional and academic development, • A background in psychology, youth work, sports coaching, care, or mentoring is desirable Why Work with ANZUK?: • Competitive daily pay rates, • Long-term opportunity within a supportive school environment, • Dedicated consultant support and career guidance, • Access to CPD and SEN-focused training, • Opportunity to gain valuable experience within an inclusive primary setting How to Apply: If you’re passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for a rewarding full-time role from September, apply today with your CV
