The Role: We are in search of a highly proficient and systematic Office Administrator to assist the team in ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of client assignments, adhering to our rigorous company standards. While prior professional office experience is advantageous, we are committed to providing comprehensive training for the successful candidate. This is a full-time position, based in our Maidenhead office, requiring 37.5 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday). Given the nature of the work, this role is office-based with no hybrid working options. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting Project Managers by executing robust, accurate, and timely administrative activities across all revenue streams. This involves a spectrum of tasks, ranging from general support functions to specific project-related administrative responsibilities. The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of service-delivery processes across the business. Your Responsibilities Will Include: - Direct accountability of general or specific project footage management, encompassing file download, accessibility, and archiving according to project requirements. - Management and allocation of the necessary paperwork for the daily deployment of Site Operatives. - Filing and generation of overview summaries for project-specific datasets. - Long-term project-specific administrative tasks, including creating, managing, and delivering datasets, and generating reports on project performance. - Active facilitation of procurement activities, including purchase order generation and stock ordering. Requirements: - Strong administration skills paired with a keen attention to detail. - Proven organisational skills with adaptability and prioritisation capabilities. - High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective project information dissemination. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Job Summary The Duty Manager is responsible for managing the building on a day-to-day basis. In particular overseeing the front of house operation and working with paid staff and volunteers. Key Responsibilities • To manage the day to day operation of the building • To ensure that all users of The Farm receive excellent customer service • To manage volunteers • To welcome visitors to The Farm and provide information as required • To support the Box Office • To support FOH sales including catering and retail • To deputise for the Entertainments Licensee in her absence Detailed Job Description 1. Welcome visitors to The Farm including Audiences, Artists, Hirers, Market and Class Attenders. 2. Provide show reports detailing activity and any issues arising. 3. To manage the day to day running of the building 4. To deliver fast, efficient ticket sales from the Box Office* 5. To ensure that the foyer and public areas of the building are always kept clean and tidy. 6. To manage print in the building, liaising with the marketing team 7. To re-set rooms on a daily basis for classes and events. NB This includes manual lifting 8. To engage in other Front of House activity including working with café bar as required 9. To help with seasonal décor in the theatre foyer for school holidays and xmas 10. To deputise for the Licensee in her absence, ensuring strict compliance with all conditions of the building’s Licence and undertaking regular duty management shifts 11. To undertake first aid training and act as one of the venue’s nominated First Aiders 12. Any other duties as may be required as part of the House Manager function *Training on Spektrix, our computerised ticketing system will be given. Hours of Work Most of the work will be Tues – Sat. Occasional Sundays & Mondays in the year. Most public holidays are part of the working time and are taken as TOIL. Potential additional hours for holiday cover and special projects. Duty Manager Person Specification Essential Candidates must be able to demonstrate: • Experience of working in sales and / or merchandising / point of sale experience • An understanding of high-quality customer service • A good level of physical fitness (as lifting and moving furniture to re-set rooms is required on a regular basis) • A good level of computer literacy (training on specific software programmes will be provided) • A keen eye for detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team • Excellent organisational skills • A genuine interest in the arts Desirable • Duty management experience in a similar environment • Experience of working in a Box Office, particularly operating Spektrix • Own means of transport • First Aid qualification Norden Farm uses Spektrix for box office ticketing, and Microsoft Office for administrative purposes.

HOUSEKEEPER, WITH OCCASIONAL CHILDCARE An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and resourceful housekeeper to work with a friendly and supportive family who’s chairman is the founder of a successful company based near Maidenhead. The role is 25 hours per week, 7 hours both Monday and Friday (8am to 4pm with an hour for lunch); 3.5 hours on Tuesday morning, and 3.5 hours on Wednesday/Thursday (morning or afternoon) between 8am-4pm. Some flexibility on timings can be agreed if the right candidate has their own family responsibilities. Your hourly rate is £13.00, but for the right candidate with experience the family is happy to offer more with an annual salary and 23 days holidays. Household responsibilities are cleaning, ironing, preparing meals, going shopping and various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the home. Occasional childcare requires you to look after the MD’s son, so experience in looking after young children is necessary; accompanying the toddler to various activities. Must have a full driving licence and access to a car to travel, as the role is split between three family households, two of which are in Maidenhead.
