Overview Are you an expert in pensions communication with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Gallagher as a Principal Consultant – Pensions Communication. This is a senior leadership role where your expertise in pensions communication will be at the forefront. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering strategic, conceptual, and executional communication projects that make a real impact. You’ll also lead a talented team of consultants, ensuring the highest standards of service and innovation in the pensions sector. How you'll make an impact Client Delivery: • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming their go-to expert in pensions communication., • Drive long-term client planning and deliver innovative, commercially creative solutions tailored to the pensions sector., • Oversee the delivery of high-quality communication strategies and solutions for a portfolio of pensions clients., • Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Senior Consultants, ensuring they perform at their best and grow their careers., • Create and implement a clear talent and training plan to enhance team capabilities and industry knowledge, with a focus on pensions communication., • Act as a key point of contact for senior leadership, clients, and internal teams, particularly in the pensions space., • Collaborate with global colleagues and leverage Gallagher’s BetterWorks proposition to deliver exceptional results., • Identify and develop opportunities to grow revenue from existing and new pensions clients., • Lead and manage pitches, proposals, and cross-selling initiatives within the pensions sector., • Ensure governance and operational efficiency within your team, championing best practices and processes., • Take accountability for the financial performance of your portfolio and team. Experience: • Pensions communication experience is essential., • Consultancy or agency background is mandatory., • Proven track record of managing complex client accounts and working directly with senior stakeholders, including Board-level executives., • Team management and people development experience is required., • Deep understanding of pensions communication and its role in employee engagement and business success., • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and project management skills., • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with expertise in communication best practices., • Commercially astute with excellent financial management and negotiation skills., • Service-focused with the ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions., • A strategic thinker who can consult at the most senior level and deliver measurable results.
