About the Role As a Teacher at Ty Trafle School, you will deliver engaging, tailored learning experiences that meet the individual needs of your pupils. Working closely with learning support assistants, therapists, care staff and families, you will help create a positive and inclusive classroom where pupils can thrive both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and delivering differentiated lessons aligned to individual learning needs Creating a calm, structured and supportive learning environment Using positive behaviour support strategies in line with school policies Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and parents/carers Supporting pupils’ wellbeing, including personal care where required Promoting safeguarding, equality and inclusion at all timesWhat We’re Looking For Essential: GCSEs (A*–C or equivalent), including English and Maths A child-centred approach and passion for inclusive education Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to support complex needs Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeingDesirable: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with pupils with Autism, SEMH or additional learning needs Confidence working within a multidisciplinary team A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learningWhy Join Ty Trafle School?
