You’ll lead a talented, cross-functional engineering team across the UK and Europe, ensuring technical excellence, efficient development, and seamless integration from design to deployment. What You’ll Do • Lead and mentor a team of 5+ electrical engineers through all phases of product development., • Oversee end-to-end design of satellite hardware — from requirements definition and simulation to test and delivery., • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure successful integration., • Plan and track engineering activities, ensuring delivery of high-quality, flight-ready products., • Establish and refine engineering standards and best practices for reliability, performance, and efficiency., • Contribute directly to design reviews, troubleshooting, and hands-on technical work when needed., • Support team growth and development through mentorship and structured feedback. What You Bring • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing technical teams., • 10+ years of electronics design, test, and delivery experience in aerospace or other high-reliability applications., • Deep expertise in power, digital, and analog circuit design, simulation, and analysis., • Strong understanding of high-reliability development, validation, and test practices., • Proven ability to deliver flight-ready or production-grade electronic systems. Bonus Points • Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)., • Experience designing and testing for space or harsh environments., • Knowledge of RF design, FPGA development, or Altium Designer., • Familiarity with EMC, environmental testing, and export control requirements.
