Guest Experience & Box Office Manager South London | Premium Independent Cinema Salary: £34,000–£37,000 | Full-time (45 hours per week) We are working with a well-established, independent cinema in South London that sits at the heart of a wider entertainment and hospitality destination. This venue is known for delivering a premium film-going experience, combining beautifully designed spaces, outstanding service, and a genuine passion for cinema. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Guest Experience or Box Office Manager to take ownership of front-of-house cinema operations while leading and developing a customer-focused team. The Opportunity Reporting into the General Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing box office and cinema front-of-house operations, ensuring every guest receives a seamless and memorable experience. You'll lead from the front, supporting and motivating your team while maintaining exceptional service standards across daily screenings and private events. This role would suit someone from a high-end cinema, theatre, or hospitality background who enjoys combining operational excellence with people leadership. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day cinema and box office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient screenings Lead, train and develop the front-of-house team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture Ensure private screenings and special events are delivered to an excellent standard Support in-venue marketing activity, including digital displays and printed materials Act as a key point of contact for guest experience, always delivering warm and professional service Assist with recruitment, onboarding and performance management when required Collaborate closely with the wider management team to continuously improve processes and standards About You We're keen to speak with candidates who bring strong guest service experience and confidence in leading teams. You don't need to tick every box, a willingness to learn and develop is just as important.
