Registered Manager Childrens Residential Home Portsmouth £45,000 £55,000 + Bonus New Home Launch Supportive, Child-Centred Provider Affinity Care Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected childrens residential care provider to recruit a passionate and experienced Registered Manager for a new provider in Portsmouth . This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a service from the ground up, with full autonomy to shape the culture, team, and outcomes for young people backed by a provider committed to delivering outstanding care. Responsibilities Oversee the setup and registration of a new childrens home with Ofsted Lead and manage daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive and professional team culture Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each childs needs Maintain effective communication with children, families, staff, and external agencies Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and development Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery Responsibilities Lead and manage the daily operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding Oversee the registration process with Ofsted and maintain full regulatory compliance Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and empathy Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child Maintain effective communication with children, families, staff, and external agencies Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing support and development Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective service delivery Experience & Requirements Proven experience in a management role within a childrens residential setting Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent (ESSENTIAL) Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding legislation Excellent leadership and communication skills Full UK driving licence & access to vehicle Right to work full-time in the UK TPBN1_UKTJ
