GENERAL ENGINEER / SEMI SKILLED ENGINEER\n\nWe are recruiting for a General Semi Skilled Engineer to work for our client who are based in Bradford, West Yorkshire.\n\nTHE DUTIES:\n\n * Experience of commercial combustion engines.\n\n * Checking cylinder blocks and associated components.\n\n * General housekeeping of work area and routine machine maintenance/safety checks.\n\n * Participate in continuous improvement activities\n\n * Maintain standards of health, safety and hygiene in the workplace including the yard areas\n\nESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:\n\n * Engine related experience\n\n * Good standard in maths and English\n\n * Attention to detail\n\nTHE HOURS:\n\nYou will be working days:\n\nMonday – Thursday 7am- 4pm and Friday 7am-12pm\n\nTHE PAY:\n\nThe rate of pay is £13.50 - £15 per hour.\n\nBenefits:\n\nFree on-site parking\n\nAccessible by bus and train\n\nOvertime paid at x 1.5 after 39 hours\n\n25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays\n\nQuestech Recruitment is a specialist engineering support within the Mechanical & Engineering industry, our focus is to support many clients within the M&E Sectors.
