Overview We are recruiting an Associate to join our Global Strategic Advisory team in London! Global Strategic Advisory (GSA) team delivers data-driven research and insights that support informed decision-making for clients – primarily in the property & casualty (re)insurance market. As a progressive team, we tackle client-specific challenges in the following areas: • Growth advisory and market entry, • Cycle management analysis, • Peer and industry benchmarking, • Company and market research Our research integrates proprietary data, licensed third-party information, and publicly available sources. Our embedded position within Gallagher Re allows us to deliver analysis grounded in both data and real-world market experience. GSA operates as an integrated part of the broader Gallagher Re platform, working closely with colleagues across a range of professional subject areas. We deliver insights and research through multiple formats and channels, tailored to each client engagement. As a GSA team analyst, you help craft valuable analysis for clients and internal partners. At the same time, you will be building your knowledge of the property & casualty (re)insurance industry. How you'll make an impact • Market & Client Intelligence: Conduct market research, analyse industry and company trends, monitor competitive dynamics to deliver actionable business insights that inform strategic direction and identify emerging opportunities., • Support Client Engagements: Collaborate with team members to develop clear, concise presentations that communicate conclusions and recommendations., • End-to-End Project Leadership: Take full ownership of initiatives from inception to delivery, developing clear, compelling presentations that distill sophisticated analysis and effectively influence senior leadership decision-making., • Collaborative partnerships: Contribute to a supportive team that values excellence and mutual support., • Cross-functional Exposure: Engage with multi-disciplinary experts across the organisation and engage with executives—both internally and with clients., • Professional Development: Benefit from exceptional coaching, training, and personal development opportunities designed to support your ongoing professional growth., • Executive Support: Respond to ad hoc requests from the Executive Committee with speed, accuracy, and insight, delivering high-impact outputs that support decision-making., • Experience: Experience in a strategic or analytical role, ideally with exposure to the insurance or reinsurance industry., • Academic Achievement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent., • Problem solving ability: proficiency and passion for solving problems. Skilled at identifying business challenges and opportunities, breaking them down into logical, manageable components, and developing innovative, strategic solutions., • Strong communication: Engaging with senior leaders, and able to effectively challenge the status quo to shift the way of thinking., • Organisational skills: Highly effective at managing projects simultaneously.
