This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team providing high intensity interventions in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), working with adults aged 16+ who have a range of anxiety and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. This role will suit qualified therapists who hold an accredited registration with the BABCP or newly qualified CBT therapists working toward accreditation. The post holder will work within the service to provide high intensity CBT interventions to patients at Step 3 of the Talking Therapies service. We operate hybrid working to include remote/office-based hours with face-to-face patient contact, as well as telephone and video conferencing. The contracted hours are 37.5 over 5 days. This is a fixed-term post to cover long-term absence, anticipated until 1st September 2026, with the possibility of earlier termination with appropriate notice. A typical week involves working autonomously and as part of a team, within a hybrid model of home and office-based work. You will collaboratively assess and provide psychological interventions to patients, managing a caseload of individuals with depression and/or anxiety, and meeting KPI targets. Maintaining clinical records and engaging in supervision and CPD are integral parts of the role. Opportunities to facilitate groups and develop additional skills, including a Champion role and involvement in service promotion and development, are available. You will liaise effectively with your team and relevant agencies within the care pathway.
