You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs, including autism spectrum conditions, communication difficulties, and complex needs. Some pupils may be non-verbal and require alternative communication methods and structured, nurturing support. Support children with ALN, ASD, sensory needs, and emotional regulation. Experience working with children or young people with ALN, SEN, ASD, or complex needs (highly desirable, but not essential). An understanding that behaviour is a form of communication. Confidence in supporting pupils with sensory needs and structured routines. Experience in education, care, youth work, or SEN settings is advantageous.
