Warehouse Manager | Manufacturing | Wirral | £42k Monday-Thursday: 8am-5pm | Friday: 8am-12:30pm (38.5 hrs/week) Are you a hands-on, forward-thinking Warehouse Manager ready for your next challenge? This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative manufacturer undergoing significant expansion. As Warehouse Manager, you'll lead a close-knit team, drive operational excellence, and help shape the future of the warehouse function - including a potential relocation to a larger site. The Role Reporting to the senior leadership team, you'll oversee all aspects of warehouse operations - from goods in/out and team development to system improvements and stock control. You'll also play a key role in digitising warehouse systems, potentially managing a site relocation, and embedding a culture of safety, fairness, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Lead, train, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, • Manage day-to-day operations including goods in/out, 3PL coordination, and yard management, • Drive warehouse digitisation - linking goods movement processes with SAGE, • Play a key role in planning and executing a warehouse move to a larger site, • Create and maintain SOPs and champion process improvement, • Collaborate with stock control and CI teams to enhance operational efficiency, • Ensure stock availability to production lines, following FIFO and rotation practices, • Take part in stock counts (monthly & annual), • Manage resources effectively and track performance against KPIs, • Conduct bi-annual reviews and lead team training/development, • Work closely with Health & Safety to uphold a safety-first culture What You'll Bring • Proven experience in warehouse management within a fast-paced setting, • Track record of digitalising warehouse operations (SAGE experience essential), • Experience leading warehouse redesigns or relocations, • Skilled in team leadership, training, and performance management, • Hands-on FLT licence (Instructor-level ideal, but not essential), • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, • Confident in challenging the status quo and driving innovation Why Apply? • Up to £42,000 salary, • Simply Health cover, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Contributory pension scheme BBBH34399
